What to expect as a New Patient
-
1: Patient History
We want to assure you that we will thoroughly review your intake forms before your visit. This allows us to discuss your relevant health history effectively during your appointment. Please complete the forms we send to you, as they help us understand your needs prior to your arrival.
Please note that imaging, such as an X-ray or MRI referral, may occasionally be required. This will only happen if something in your history or assessment indicates that a scan is necessary.
-
2: Assessment
During your New Patient Assessment, we will conduct a comprehensive and objective evaluation of your spinal and musculoskeletal health. This assessment will help us understand key aspects such as your core strength, joint mobility, flexibility, grip strength, squat function, range of motion, postural problems, muscular issues, and most importantly, your spinal health.
Our goal is to identify the root cause of any pain or immobility you may be experiencing.

3: Report and treatment
After we complete your history and assessment, you will typically receive an adjustment. We will then discuss the findings of your assessment during your second visit. This will ensure you clearly understand your results and how we can work together to overcome any barriers to feeling and moving well.
At this second visit, we'll also have the opportunity to discuss and agree upon the most effective treatment plan, including the best methods of treatment, what to expect, and how we can best achieve your health goals together.
